On the 4th, my friends and I found that the rabbit nest in my back yard had been torn up by some animal and all of the babies were dead except for one. He was covered in maggot eggs and was crawling around when we had found him. Thanks to Megeso, we were able to clean him off and buy some formula to feed him. I decided to name him 'Wya', which means wolf in Cherokee. Since he was such a fighter and he kind of looked like a wolf we thought it was a beautiful name. I kept Wya and nursed him everyday. He was probably about a week old. His eyes weren't even open yet. He was the sweetest thing. Whenever he was in my hand or laying on me, he would always lick and suck on my skin (thinking I was his mother). He would always give me sweet little bunny kisses
On the morning of the third day, I woke up and checked on the baby as usual and I found that he was cold. He was alive but cold. I was terrified. I did my best to warm him up and I tried to feed him and got him to take a little. So I felt a little better but I wasn't at ease about it. Later that night he was even colder and he could hardly move. I tried to feed him again but he wouldn't take it. I kept trying but he wouldn't eat. I just held him and tried to keep him warm. I had to watch him die, watch him fade slowly. It was so gut wrenching, I didn't want to but I didn't want him to be alone. I know it sounds stupid but it's true. I was up till 5 that morning. He died around that time...But now he's in the arms of the angels

Life is like a camera.
We have to accept the bad photos---
Your eyes were closed,
Smile crooked,
Face blocked---
And smile for the next.

"Already the writers are complaining that there is too much freedom. They need some pressure. The worse your daily life, the better your art. If you have to be careful because of opression and censorship, this pressure produces diamonds" ~Tatyana Tolstaya

"Did you just call me a betch? Well...a betch is a female dog, dogs bark, bark is on trees, trees are part of nature, and nature is beautiful. So thank you for the compliment"
